Bull Run Restoration at High Point
Led by Joe Villari of Virginia Outdoors Foundation and Mike Lott of Virginia Natural Heritage, you'll take a trip to visit the "High Point" section of the Preserve which is closed to regular visitation due to previous ecological damage. Enjoy scenic views and unique geology plus rare forest and woodlands along the way. The trip will focus on understanding public access impacts and the ability to recover sites like High Point once degraded. The hike will cover 5-6 miles and involve a section of steep and unmaintained trail.
