  • This is a medium sized running event that uses the Bright Hope Equestrian Area as the event area. This event utilizes hiking trails and forest roads on the south side of the park.

Park Special Event

Special Olympics Polar Plunge

8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Location impacted: Other
  • The Special Olympics will be hosting their Polar Plunge Saturday December 12, 2026. The park's boat ramp will be closed to parking and launching until late afternoon when the event is over.
