June 7, 2026. 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Do you love bees, butterflies, and birds? Come by the Picnic Area to learn about what you can do to support your favorite flying pollinators. We will be exploring the basics of growing pollinator plots, native plants, and what kinds of wildlife they support.

Experience the joys of seeing some of our native butterflies, moths, and birds as they enjoy the benefits of these habitats. Join with Virginia Master Naturalist, MK Ruffner, and learn how the Virginia Master Naturalists built these pollinator plots and hear about how these special places help the web of life in this area.

For more information on the Virginia Master Naturalists, please visit their website.

The talk will meet in the picnic area by the pollinator plots just across from the Sensory Explorers' Trail head.
