Join Virginia Master Naturalist and amateur mycologist Adam Boring for an evening exploring the fascinating “Wood Wide Web.” Discover the diverse mushrooms of Southwest Virginia—from deadly toxic species to tasty edibles, rare finds, and hidden beauties of the fungal world.

Adam will share tips for identifying fungi, explain how they interact with the ecosystems around them, discuss common mushroom myths, and highlight what you can expect to find locally. The program will include a PowerPoint presentation, hands-on examples, and visual aids, along with resources for learning more.

No registration is required for this program.
