Who wants to earn their Girl Scouts Love State Parks Badge at Kiptopeke State Park? Join us the weekend of September 11th-13th to complete a self-guided program and earn your badge! We will offer self-guided activity booklets for scouts to complete throughout the weekend, and they will be available to pick-up at our Big Water Visitor Center from 9am-4pm!

Regular programming will continue as scheduled, and scouts are encouraged to attend! Scouts can complete the activity booklet independently, or as a group.

Every September, during Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend, Virginia State Parks offers a variety of programs to connect Girl Scouts with nature while earning badges. From guided hikes and plant identification to campfire building and backpacking basics, this special weekend helps Girl Scouts learn outdoor skills, build confidence and become advocates for the environment.
