The joy of nature journaling is not about being a perfect artist; it’s about curiosity and wonder, slowing down and taking a closer look at what is out there. Join a ranger to discover the basics of what to include in a nature journal, what data you should record, and how to personalize your own journal. We will provide you with recycled materials to create your own journal, but if you have one you would rather use, feel free to bring it. After our discussion, we will take a short stroll around the visitor center so you can practice making observations in our park and be prepared to journal in other outdoor environments. This is a fun activity for all ages.
