Older Girl Scouts may enjoy this program. During the program, the leader will train guests to focus on the present moment, observe their thoughts and feelings without judgment, and enhance their awareness of the mind-body connection. Meet your guide at the visitor center. If the weather is nice, we will be outdoors. Bring a towel or a mat if you would like to sit on the floor. We will also have chairs available. Reservations are required. Please call the visitor center to reserve your spot at 703-339-2385. Participants should be at least 12 years old and be able to follow the guided mindfulness steps. You do not need to be a Girl Scout to participate.

From guided hikes and plant identification to campfire building and backpacking basics, this special weekend helps Girl Scouts learn outdoor skills, build confidence and become advocates for the environment.
