Calling all curious explorers! Celebrate Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend with a hands-on adventure that helps you work toward your Brownie Bug Badge. Together, we’ll uncover why insects are essential to healthy ecosystems, explore their fascinating life cycles, and learn where different bugs like to make their homes.

Then it’s time to become true bug detectives. With magnifying glasses in hand, you’ll head out on a guided bug hunt to observe insects up close, identify what you find, and discover the tiny clues that make each species unique.

Get ready for a fun, outdoor investigation full of discoveries—perfect for Brownies who love nature and want to learn more about the incredible world of bugs!

From guided hikes and plant identification to campfire building and backpacking basics, this special weekend helps Girl Scouts learn outdoor skills, build confidence and become advocates for the environment.
