Whether you prefer the writings of Henry David Thoreau or the classic rhyme scheme of Dr. Seuss, poetry provides the ability to connect with human emotions through the artistic expression of words. Join interpreters in Mason Neck for an evening of reading and creating nature-themed poetry. We will have a selection of poems to read together, but guests are encouraged to bring their own writings or favorite readings. Bring a camp chair and some water. The Visitor Center will close at 7:00 p.m. Meet the interpreters on the patio behind the Visitor Center.
