What lurks in the leaves below the surface?
Join us in searching for the many types of critters that call Long Pond home! From frogs and fish to macroinvertebrates like crawfish and dragonfly nymphs, each creature plays an important role in the health of our ecosystem. Discover the importance of each species and how each interconnected piece of our ecosystem fit together.
Participants will meet at the Visitor Center prior to the program.
Clean, closed-toed shoes are required for this program. It is also recommended to wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty in.
In case in inclement weather, please check this page prior to coming to the park. Cancellations will be posted by close of business the day before the program.
