The Senior Ranger series is geared towards senior citizens who are interested in learning more about nature, outdoor skills, and history. This program offers a range of outdoor opportunities to be active and explore Leesylvania State Park. Complete 5 sessions and receive a Senior Ranger Badge.

Journey back in time on Lee's Woods Trail to discover hundreds of years of human history. Follow a Ranger on this guided hike to learn about the people, places, and events that make Leesylvania State Park unique. The trail is 1.7 miles, moderate difficulty, and is not stroller friendly. Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy closed-toe footwear, and consider bringing water. Meet at the Lee's Woods Trailhead to get started.
