From its beginnings as a bold railroad experiment to its pivotal role in the American Civil War, its 1914 steel replacement, and its transformation into a state park, the bridge embodies both resilience and renewal.
Join a ranger at High Bridge Station Visitor Center for a guided walk to the bridge and back where we will uncover the history, engineering, and human stories that have shaped High Bridge and carried it into the modern day. We hope to see you on the trail!
