Just as caterpillars grow and change, our Caterpillar Club programs are designed to help your little one grow and change. Each week, we will have you and your child(ren) exploring our natural world through a variety of seasonally appropriate, hands-on activities that will foster children's inborn sense of wonder and curiosity. These experiences are gauged towards early childhood (3-5 years old), but of course, all family members are welcome and encouraged to participate. Every program supports Virginia's Blocks for Early Learning. Please dress for the weather.

August 6 - H2O; Let's go: Let's make a splash and learn about watersheds and the water cycle.
August 13 - Animal Clues: Use your detective skills to discover the animals of Pocahontas State Park.
August 20 - Sounds of Pocahontas: Who is making all of that noise?
August 27 - Mushrooms and Fungi: Discover the magical world of mushrooms.
