This December, homeschoolers will learn about forces of nature. Join us in learning about the power of the sun and how humans, and even some animals, have learned to harness it. Discover how clouds and rain form and how a storm can turn into a hurricane. Learn about the types of precipitation and how our snow days come to be.

Although this program is geared towards homeschoolers grades K-4, all visitors are welcome to attend these programs.

*Note: The same program is offered twice a week, on Monday and Wednesday mornings.

Be sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. Hikes and other outdoor activities should be anticipated for any of these programs.

In case in inclement weather, please check this page prior to coming to the park. Cancellations will be posted by close of business the day before the program.
