Calling all nature lovers!

Bring your binoculars and join a ranger to hike along Laurel Loop Trail while looking, listening and identifying different birds around Hayfields State Park. Early October is still a prime time to see migrating birds. Who knows what we'll spot traveling through!

We'll also talk about the common tree species of Hayfields and other natural features!

Laurel Loop is a 1-mile, moderate trail with some uneven terrain. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather and bring water to drink.

Meet at the Park Office.

Contact the park (540-396-4489) for more details.
