Take a guided walk alongside Powhatan State Park's managed meadows to learn about the seasonal cycles of this vital habitat and collect seeds along the way! You'll find out what kinds of wildlife depend on native meadows, get tips on planting native flowers at home, and even go home with the seeds you collect.

What to Expect:
The walk will be under one mile on a flat trail at a slow pace with frequent stops to identify and discuss the plants along the way. Shelter #1 is accessed via a paved sidewalk.

Registration:
While registration is not required for this program, it is recommended! If you register, we will be able to contact you if the program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
