Self-Guided B.A.R.K. Ranger Adventure
Where
Program Location: Visitor Center
Main Park Address: Lake Anna State Park, 6800 Lawyers Rd., Spotsylvania, VA 22551.
When
Nov. 20, 2026. 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Learn what it means to B.A.R.K. at Virginia State Parks on our self-guided Bark Ranger program, where you and your pup will complete several fun activities that will have you explore the great outdoors while being responsible pet owner at parks. This program is especially designed for more independent dogs who prefer to explore the park away from other dogs, and a great alternative to our more social pack walks!
Grab a self-guided program at the Visitor Center from 10:00am-4:00pm. Once the program is completed, return to the Visitor Center during open hours to have your dog sworn in as a Lake Anna State Park B.A.R.K Ranger! Pets will be offered a treat upon completion, and pet parents will earn a certificate and sticker for completing the program.
