Join a ranger on a guided hike along the Blue Ridge Trail and discover what makes birding so fun!

This walk is open to all experience levels, covering the basics of binocular use and the foundations of bird identification. The moderate 1.5 mile hike will take place along sections of Blue Ridge Trail, providing a look at several different types of habitat and ample opportunities to view various bird species.

This walk is best enjoyed with sturdy walking shoes and a water bottle. Binoculars will be provided.

The program cost is $3 per participant.

Pre-registration is required and space is limited. To register, call (540) 254-0795. Prepayment is taken at time of registration by credit card over the phone, and you will be emailed a receipt.
