Join us at the Big Water Visitor Center to discover why Virginia's Eastern Shore is one of the Western Hemisphere's best hot spots for birdwatching. The visitor center will be open every Saturday in November from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm, offering informative exhibits, fun activities, and the chance to ask a ranger all your burning questions about the park. Drop in any time between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to view and touch a display of fascinating bird specimens and learn about the biology and ecology of the region's native species and migratory visitors.

The Big Water Visitor Center is located outside of the park entrance (to the left when entering the park, to the right when exiting), so no parking fee is required to visit or to attend programs held there. No retail items will be available in the visitor center during the off season.
