Grayson Highlands State Park hosts Fall Festival Sept. 26-27

MOUTH OF WILSON, Va. – The Grayson Highlands Fall Festival will return to Grayson Highlands State Park on Saturday, Sept. 26, and Sunday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nestled in Virginia’s stunning Appalachian Mountains, the festival promises a weekend of family-friendly autumn activities.

Event highlights include:

Live music: Local, old-time bands
Craft market: Handcrafted goods, seasonal decorations and unique souvenirs
Food vendors: Hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ, apple cider and more

“We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to this year’s Fall Festival,” said Park Manager Mike Bender. “It’s a special time of year here in the mountains, and the festival is a great way for visitors to enjoy local traditions, music, crafts and food while taking in the beauty of the season.”

The Fall Festival is held in the park’s picnic area and benefits Rugby Volunteer Fire & Rescue. Admission is the standard Virginia State Parks parking fee of $10 per vehicle, plus the Rugby Volunteer Fire Department parking fee: $10 per vehicle, $5 per motorcycle and $20 per bus..
