A course to be held in Lee County for District employees in the area.  The speakers will be J.B. Daniels from NRCS, K.D. Cook from NRCS, and VCE Ag Agent. 

Below is the agenda:

12:00 pm- Introduction & Serving Food

12:30 pm- Stockpile Overview

                 - Why Stockpile?

                  -Fertilization & Yield

                 -Forage Quality

                 -Animal Nutrient Requirements

                 -Economics

1:30 pm- Travel to Ingle Farm

                 -Overview of farm by Jerry Ingle & how they started into stockpiled fescue

                 -Strip Grazing & Grazing Management

                 -Grazing Stick Calibration

                 -Stockpiled Fertilization vs No Fertilization

3:00 pm- Depart for Home
